Members of Back Country Horsemen receive
three distinct newsletters

The Back Country Horsemen of America (BCHA) sends a quarterly newsletter that provides information about equestrian trail issues on a national scale.  States and chapters are also encouraged to provide information.

The Back Country Horsemen of Washington (BCHW) produces the “Trailhead News”, a semi-monthly newsletter concentrating on state issues and events.  Chapters are encouraged to share information about their events and accomplishments.

The Ponderosa Back Country Horsemen (PBCH) chapter produces a monthly newsletter that chapter members receive electronically.  Members are encouraged to contribute information about their experiences, stories, educational information, events and pictures to produce an entertaining and informative newsletter.
